Thanks Gregor. Yes, I believe that is right too. There seems to be some disconnect with this one course in our Moodle that I posted about. It's been a couple of weeks now since we deleted the files in the course, and they would not be linked to anything else. And yet the situation remains unchanged from when I first posted the original question over a week ago. I even went in and changed the "Cleanup" setting in Site Administration to "1 minute," and that has not changed this course's size.
Thankfully other courses in our Moodle instance all have (so far) been getting cut down to size as expected after files are deleted from them. So this, so far, appears to be an isolated instance that I guess we'll just have to live with.
