Recently I noticed that Moodle was keeping the submissions of deleted users on the server (even deleted users a decade ago).
So I've opened an issue about this : MDL-81088
The first answers seem to indicate that this is a desired behavior on Moodle.
When it's an attachment in a forum or a document posted by a deleted user, I can understand the interest in not deleting these files.
However I'm not sure why you would keep files that are no longer accessible from the web interface, even by an administrator.
Were you aware of this behavior? What do you think about it?
