Hi All, has anyone else experienced downgraded performance when users are enrolled in multiple courses through a category enrollment? We just discovered that category enrollments were set to add a user to the grade book and the course appeared on their my courses block. When a user was enrolled in over 2400 courses (our Assistant Deans) who manage several courses in several categories, the courses would take upwards of 10 seconds to load for the user. When we hid the calendar block or in some cases the upcoming events block, access for the user to that specific course sped up tremendously.

Our workaround in the meantime is to provide our deans to with a site enrollments in the particular role (rather than a category enrollment) and provide them a link to the course index where they can search for moodle any moodle course to see it's historical context.
