Moodle has a long history with Google Summer of Code. I wonder if Moodle HQ has considered taking part in Google Season of Docs (GSoD). GSoD 2024 was announced earlier this month. Open source organizations can apply to take part in GSoD between February 22 and April 2. I think a project aimed at improving user documentation (for educators and administrators) would be a good idea.

Hi Ravi,

Thanks for your initiative. We don't currently consider taking part in this event. We believe open-source should be the architecture on which projects are built, as opposed to a sunny side of an otherwise proprietary architecture.
