Im not really sure what is happening considering i followed the instructions
currently im using the main branch which uses node 18.18 but still im having the same issue.. can someone help me to figure this out?

Hi there,
Those type of errors have usually something to do with your environment. If you haven't, I suggest that you go through the tips in the General Advice section of the troubleshooting documentation.
If it isn't anything covered in there, it must be something else with your environment. But we're still using the configuration and it's working both in our development environments and on CI, so the build scripts are working.
