Grid: Importing issue (restore_gnumsections())

Hello,
When importing from a course using Grid course format to a destination course that does NOT use Grid course format, I get the following error:

Call to undefined method format_topics::restore_gnumsections()

(error message above is from example using the topics course format in the destination course)

If I change the course format of the destination course to Grid BEFORE importing it works ok. My question is - has it always been so? I have a user that insists χαμόγελο that earlier she was able to import courses with Grid course format without any problems - to courses with non-Grid course format, that is. Or is this perhaps a new issue?
