Hi all!
We're testing the Moodle 4.2.1 adn trying to add some courses available for self-enrolment for students. The courses' category is visible to All, the course is set to "Show", and self-enrolment is enabled. However, if I log in from a test account that has site wide Student role, the message "This course is currently unavaiable to students" pops up.
Either way, if I enroll the same user manually, then they can access the course as expected.
Any assistance will be appreciated!

Why are you creating a sitewide student role? That seems unnecessary and means you have messed with permissions and who knows how long it will take to sort that out...how is your self enrollment set up? Did you enable it at the course level?

I didn't change any in-role permissions, and assigned it site-wide when figured out the course doesn't open up for a test student.
Yes, the enrollment is enabled at the course level.

What is the course start date? Is it in the future?
