Accept Self Signed Certificates Error

Hi Team,

We have installed jail server and VPL Plugin, but we are facing issue while submitting/running the code. Below is the error upon submission.



We have used the CA certificates and updated the same in the VPL config file. Kindly let us know if we are missing anything.

Please see the archived thread at the top of this forum. Search for 'Server 10' and note that the issues reported there revolve around Firewalls.

Hi Garth, Thank you for your response. We went through the link.
We have a Jail sever installed on EC2 instance with CA certificates. We don't have any OS level firewalls and our Security Groups are open. Not sure why we are getting the issue.

On clicking "Server 10" we are getting "OK" page but post that it is not loading. We are using the following versions:
1)moodle version 4.1+
2)Ubuntu 20.04(Tried with Ubuntu 18.04 as well)
3)Jail server latest version

Hi there, based on your settings above, you're using the demo version of VPL as your execution server. Is this what you wanted?

Hi Garth,
We have used demo version of the execution server as well as our custom server. For both the cases, we are getting the same error. Not sure if we have missed anything in plugin settings.

If it's happening on the demo server as well, you're not missing anything. You likely have a firewall issue on your moodle server preventing contact with each of the jail servers.

Hi Garth, thank you for the help. It was the issue with moodle itself. Our CSP was blocking.
