I have my tables back!
The developer who maintains the app gave the right hint. I had updated Moodle to version 4.1. I followed the Moodle guidelines for updating Moodle via GIT.
For the installation via GIT I delete everything beforehand and then copy back the Moodledata directory, the theme and the .htaccess file.
The developer hadn't told me about the CSS directory he had created.
Sorry, it's always the administrator's (that's me) fault!
