Problem with Moodle/H5P Drag-and-Drop in iOS

Hello,

I have a problem with an H5P activity in Moodle: Course presentation with Drag-and-Drop exercise.
A drag item (a small image) is to be dragged onto a spot in the background image.

When I open the task in the browser on an iOS device (iOS 15.5; ipad or iphone; Browser Safari or Firefox latest versions), I can edit the task as expected. (The drag item can be dragged onto one of the drop zones. The task will be evaluated correctly.)

However, if I choose an incorrect answer on the first try and then want to repeat the task, not only is the drag item moved, but also the content of the screen in the background. As a result, drop zones "disappear" to the left and are no longer visible or selectable. The drag item can no longer be placed correctly. The task can therefore no longer be processed.
I've tried whether you can get to the destination by holding and dragging the drag item, for example, or by tapping the drag item and drop zone. But that was not successful.

The problem does NOT occur with MacOS, for example on a Macbook.
The problem under iOS is documented in a small video, which is attachted here.

(Background: Users expect us to solve the problem. Switching to the Moodle app is not a solution the user wants. They also don't want to work without drag-and-drop exercises. The user is faced with so many iOS -devices used that a change to other devices is not possible.)

I would be very grateful for hints on possible causes of error or possible solutions. Thank you very much in advance …

Matthias

Addendum: The error described does not occur in the same exercise under Wordpress/H5P.

Hi Matthias!

If it's working on WordPress, then you could check what version of "Drag and Drop" (H5P.DragQuestion) is running on each platform. There was an update late in April that was supposed to fix the issue that you are describing. Maybe all you need to do is update the libraries and upgrade the existing contents.

Best,
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

Thank you for your quick response. I will check the versions and see if an update brings the solution.
