I am finding that 'simple certificate' is failing to generate certificates in 3.11, when used on a page with multiple sections. I had it set up to use the topic/section name as the course name. I followed this: LINK I see that subplugins can be added - adding elements - but adding one requires a lot of code changes throughout the moodle, according to the instructions that are not specific to certificate elements.
Has anyone successfully added a new element?
