Hi, so I just started using STACK today and I've been looking on how to get this to work for about 2 hours now, and still can't find it, how would I be able to get the correct answer for this? Is there a way to do it automatically like \int does with integrals or not?

What question are you asking the students? If you want them to expand out, then use ev(expand(exp),simp);

I suggest you don't use "exp" as a variable name. That name is already taken by the exponential function.
