Delete all entries in glossary

I know I can delete the entire glossary. But creating another glossary can be quite a chore.  I have to add the activity, enable  in plugins and filters, edit all the settings, and - in my case - hide the glossary from students.

Why not just duplicate the glossary (or backup and restore without user data) and use the new one? From a quick check of the code, backup and restore without user data, shouldn't include the the entries (although I've not actually tested it). You could also try using the course reset feature (I don't use it very often, so I can't remember if you can limit it to only affect a single glossary).

I think you're possibly stretching the definition of "future major feature" for something that is either a fairly minor modification to the code or, if I'm right with the above, is already more-or-less available already.
