A while ago I won a grant to work on Web Monetization within Moodle. In case you haven't heard of it Web Monetization is a proposed W3C standard for handling streaming micropayments. You can read more about the standard here.

It's a really exciting technology and I'm hoping that with tools like this we can make it easier for people to build business models around their content and get more people using Moodle.
