HTML as a file resource

HTML as a file resource

Okay, after hours of looking through post after post I don't seem to be able to find someone with the same issue.

I am on a quest to make our moodle site more attractive for students rather than lists of links - I made a web page, zipped up & uploaded as a file resource, set index.html as the main file etc... this works great when accessed through a web browser - this also looks/works great on the app until I attempt to open another resource from the web page.

When attempting to open another resource/activity it forces the user out of the app into a browser losing the offline capability - is there a way to modify the links to force it to access the link from the main course page within the app?

Hope I've explained this well enough - I'd prefer to access all activities/resources through the web page, in an effort to maintain a cleaner look I have made activities/resources hidden/available with access to the web page file resource gained through clicking hyper linked image in a label.
