We've run this plugin on half a dozen sites now.
In the early days there were a few issues, but it seems very reliable now
Just take care with the settings when you run it, if you want everything migrated to the content bank and then linked (which is the behaviour you would expect with the core version) make sure you choose that option from the dropdown menus.
