App login error - version.php is missing

Hello,

Whenever I'm trying to login to my university moodle site using Moodle app (Desktop or Mobile), an error alert appears:

"Coding error: version.php file is missing for the component mod_zoom"

I already searched and I figured that the error "version.php file missing for the component" indicates that that plugin (mod_zoom) is not correctly installed.

But, I just want to make sure if the error is related to the file version.php of "mod_zoom" plugin or could it be something else ? And what is the correct permissions that I should set to  the file version.php ?

Kind regards,

Hi Bilal,

yes, it seems the mod_zoom plugin isn't correctly installed. Please make sure it has a version.php file and that file can be accessed by the server. I'm not sure which are the right permissions though.

Cheers,
Dani
