Problem paying for Moodle App plan with credit card

Hi Juan,

I have problem paying with my Credit Card. I am getting this message. What is happening? And my bank (international) detected the payment gateway as Fraud alert and my credit card is blocked.

error/Subscription cannot be created as we are not able to collect EUR 499,00 from your card on file. Error message: (2000) Do Not Honor.

Help. Semester starts tomorrow. Thought I won't have any problem with my credit card. 😭

Hello

We use Braintree for payments that is a very reliable payment processor (it is a Paypal company). According to their help center (https://articles.braintreepayments.com/control-panel/transactions/declines#code-2000): This error indicates that the customer’s bank is unwilling to accept the transaction. It’s causes are diverse and difficult to pin down without contacting the bank, but some of the typical reasons the code is returned include an incorrect card number or expiration date entered on the checkout page, insufficient funds in the associated bank account and a rejection based on fraud filters at the bank. Being a soft decline (the result of a temporary issue), the best way to troubleshoot this error is to simply retry the card at a later time.

Please contact with your bank so they can check the configuration of your credit card, maybe you have some some configuration that prevents you doing a bank transfer to an Australian account.
