About incrusted Vimeo videos

Hi! I have private videos that I incrusted in my Moodle site, however they can't be seen in the Moodle app. Is there a special configuration? Has anyone had success in this? Any help would be really appreciated.  Thanks!

PS I know from a friend who also runs a Moodle site that incrusted YouTube videos also won't work.

Hi Gloria,

both YouTube and Vimeo videos should work fine in the app. However, in the case of Vimeo videos you will need to enable "Allow frame embedding" like it's explained in here:

https://docs.moodle.org/34/en/Moodle_Mobile_FAQ#My_protected_Vimeo_videos_are_not_playing_in_the_app

If it still doesn't work after enabling this setting, please make sure your server (Apache o whatever) doesn't force X-Frame-Options to 'sameorigin'. The server should be configured like this:

X-Frame-Options "ALLOWALL"

Cheers,
Dani
