adaptable theme - basics on scrolling

Moodle 3.8.3; adaptable 2.2.2

Just starting to experiment with the adaptable theme. Lots to like. 2 questions:

1. I am trying to have a small logo on the page in the default upper left. The logo looks really large, making the header area too big. I want to make the logo smaller, with a slimmer header. I think there is a field for this size adjustment, and it is default to 72px. But when I change that, it doesn't seem to change anything. Is there another way to change the header size (logo size)?

2. I find that when I look at the expanding structure of page navigation on the right, I find that when you click on a title, it expands, but then it bring you to the top of the page, so you need to scroll down to find where you were. If you have to click in 2 or 3 times, this is pretty tiresome. Is there some way to avoid this behavior, where if you click on a navigation text, it expands down, but it doesn't jump you back to the top of the page?
