Yesterday our MYSQL server crashed and the data was rolled back to a backup taken about a month ago.
Worse, for some reason the data from this backup was corrupted.
So, I went to the Administration, Backup section to turn off course backup so that the last good backup would be retained. I turned "
Schedule | ||
Active: |
to "No" and pressed "Save Changes".
But for some reason this resulted in an immediate backup of my site.
And silly man that I am, I had set the backups to save only one file. So this last backup, of corrupted data, was saved over my last good backup of my courses.
Is a last backup when one turns off scheduling a feature?
May it have been caused due to the fact that the datbase was corrupted?
