I am currently running moodle from a package downloaded from the download page.

I want to start using CVS can someone run me through what I need to do?

Please check the links in MoodleDocs CVS (administrator), in particular Chardelle's helpful forum post, which really needs copying into MoodleDocs. wink

Thanks Helen,
I am running Damn Small Linux on my server so that post was not to helpful, my fault, I should have been more specific. I gave CVS a go after posting the first message, I dont know what I did wrong but I got error after error.

I wanted to try CVS after a number on "bad" upgrades. Every time I upgrade, something goes wrong and I sit their hours on end trying to get it right! տխրում եմ

I'm trying to salvage whats left of my site at the moment
 I tried copying Chardelle's post into Moodle Docs, but I keep getting a blank page! տխրում եմ
I'l try again later.
