stack_cas_connection: could not open a CAS process

I've just installed stack type-question on our moodle site, but when I try to run a stack qyestion it gives me this error

stack_cas_connection: could not open a CAS process

The same message appears when, as a site admin, I go looking to plugin directory--> STACK healthcheck.

What can I do??

I think so but I struggle to connect moodle with maxima I guess. Could you help me ??
