Hi,
I'm new to Moodle development. I have a task to add a custom field to course and display that field just below the shortname of the course. I added that custom field and change edit_form.php in order to achieve what I need. My question is, whether that is a right way to do that or do i need to do it through a plugin? Any suggestions and links to achieve my task will be helpful.
