We are trying to convert our existing Assignments to Turnitin Assignments (turnitin 2).

There is no "Additional files" section, which is a big pain as we need to always include two-three documents per assignment.

From Googling around this was easy to get around in TinyMCE as the Link button allowed all sorts of settings.

But in the Atto editor the link button has none of these options. 

How can I enable a user to be able to add a File so that it appears as a file in the assignment summary?

My work around so far is to click "link" select from the repositories, then click the "create link" button and then show advanced buttons and then click the "HTML" button and then manually edit the A HREF. This process is too technical for our operators.

The resulting link is not pretty and ideally wants to look the same as a standard Moodle Assignment "Additional Files"

I cannot see any relevant options in the Atto HTML editor Plugin section, but I was surprised to see TinyMCE was also installed.
How can I switch on a assignment by assignment basis between them?

Hi Rob,
It kind of helps to know which activity module you're using: mod_assign or mod_turnitintooltwo. Mod_assign allows for multiple files per submission, but that would be a setting in each activity. If you're using mod_turnitintooltwo, my best bet is to contact TurnItIn directly, as they developed the plugin and should have a comprehensive manual for this.

Submitting files is not the issue.

When we setup mod_assign -ments previously we can add the assignment brief and and any other notes etc as files and they show very clearly on assignment page to the user with icons.
This does not appear to be an option with mod_turnitintooltwo.
I was hoping someone who was familiar with the issue would have a better work around.
I thought it was odd the Atto editor (which is what moodle.org is using at the moment) does not seem to have an easy way to edit links (how they are presented) although the previous TinyMCE did.

HA! I just clicked "Advanced" at the bottom of the editor for this post and I think I have found the answer.
You need to enter the wording for your new link, then select it and then click the Link button and provide the address.

I might submit a bug for this. If you do not have anything selected and click link you should have a dialog to enter the name as well as the address.
