Resource types

I'm using Moodle 1.5.3 and the Topics format for one of my courses.

Since adding an extra topic to my course the Resource summary page and the drop-down "Jump To" box display the wrong information.

(1) The manually added links to the various resources on the main page work perfectly and are in my preferred order.

(2) The automatically generated Resource overview page has Topic 1 at the bottom of the list and starts at Topic 2 (i.e. completely out of sequence and this cannot be manually moved)

(3) The "Jump To" box delivers the wrong resource for the displayed title (even though this exactly matches the titles on the course home page)

What can have happened and how best should I try to resolve this? Thanks for any help.
