I just want to let you all know that I've added a nice class to Moodle's lib directory... It is called snoopy from http://sourceforge.net/projects/snoopy It allows you to fetch any web page, submit data to forms via GET or POST, even just asking a HEAD.
It is like perl's LWP::UserAgent so I'm sure many of you will have tons of ideas for improving moodle through the use of this class (I used to love LWP::UserAgent!).
I'm using it right now to fetch external web pages resources in order to include automatic links to glossaries' entries.
Another nice use will be to finish at least one of the "Some nice little projects" Martin posted some time ago.
By the way... If it is finally added to the final release, I think we should include its credits in the credits page... Its author is Monte Ohrt.
