I am actually testing this plugin in my environment and may find myself in the same situation as you are. Foreseeing that possibility, I am planning to use the "third party" option that is available when you create the reengagement and, have it send the email to my Training Manager so SHE then do the follow ups. This may or may not apply to your particular scenario but it may be a possible alternative if the specific answer to your post is not fulfilled.
