Is there a way to remove the drop down menu 'Course Catagories' from pages and also removing the Navbar from pages too (so there is not a home link etc). I am using the catagories as company names with their own courses in but do not want each company to see the other. (Using Adaptable Theme)
I guess this question should be moved to the Themes forum?
No sooner said...
Hi Paul,
What version of Adaptable and Moodle are you using please?
Gareth
Hi Paul,
Please read the information displayed at the top of the forum, in the forum rules (also linked at the top of the forum) and also shown when you instigate a new post. I'll also delete your duplicate post.
Also there are several different branches of Moodle and thus several different latest versions, but what you may think of the latest might not be the latest as a new latest may have just been released. And there are several places Moodle is available and different upgrade methods, so one method may not actually have the same latest version as another.
Knowing this information is critical in answering the question correctly and thus saves you time going on wild goose chases. We can't operate on guess work, this is 'engineering' and needs to be accurate.

Hi Paul,
What you need to do is make each Company name a Group and then make these Groups invisible to other Groups.
This way all courses related to an individual Group would not be visible to other Groups.
From memory you can also make Sub Categories invisible too.
Read the Moodle Documents about this.
https://docs.moodle.org/36/en/Main_page
https://docs.moodle.org/36/en/Groups#Why_use_groups.3F
As for removing Menus then I will leave that info to Gareth after you have disclosed to him your Theme & Moodle versions, as that info is theme specific, whereas Groups and Courses are Moodle Core specific and as such are documented.
Cheers
Mary
