Hi. I'm wondering what the best way would be to store custom data for students on our Moodle platform?
We need to store certain data about students, some of which the teachers will need to see.
Some examples would be:
- view/agree to our Data Protection policy
- maybe a tick box for admin to indicate if they have an adult learner loan and that the loan has been approved (for a course)
- current status such as in learning/withdrawn/cancelled/break in learning
Could anyone please advise the approach to the above? Is there a plugin that I could use to create and manage student records like this? Do I need to do some custom coding? or do I create an activity or a resource such as a database or a page? I'm not sure how to approach this.
