I wasn't sure if my CSS code from above would always work. A student reported to me that they could not see the navigation links in when using IE11. I verified this, and they were correct. I search for this issue and found that IE11 has some problems when using "flex-end." At this point, I don't have a solution. I just wanted to mention this problem and to see if others might be experiencing this problem.
