The 2018 study made by the (Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior) Mexican National Association of Univerities and Higher Education Institutions showed that Moodle is used in 77% of H.E. institutions, followed by Blackboard in 9%.
Moodle usage was 76% the previous year (Moodle use keeps increasing).
Blackboard usage was 10% the previous year (Blackboard use keeps decreasing).
These numbers are quite different from the situation in the U.S.A. H.E. field.
