We currently use Adaptable and upgraded to V 1.7.3 which looks great, solving some of our issues.
We are using Moodle 3.4.3 and about to update to 3.5.3 and have seen in the core boost theme that in grid format, can have individual resource navigation.
This is a great feature of 3.4 but Adaptable 1.7.3 doesn't allow the navigation feature down to resource level, only section level.
Can the Adaptable theme allow grid format individual resource navigation buttons?

Yes as I've done this with the Essential theme. Also this is really course format independent.

Adaptable has settings for the most used course formats but not for Grid Format yet.
We'll think to add some settings or changes in the future.

As already stated, this is 'Also this is really course format independent' and thus I believe is more of a coincidence that it is the Grid format in the original post. This is because it is activity navigation on the 'incourse' page which is outside of the scope of a course format. Course format's can only adapt the 'course' page. The 'incourse' page pertains to a specific module in the '/mod' folder. Therefore the theme needs to render the activity navigation on this page.
