I hope you are all very well. I have an issue with the assignment plugin. When I create an an assignment I can see it in the teacher / admin view, but when I login as a test student enrolled in the course the assignment is not visible. I have changed theme and the result is the same, I have also tried it without altering any of the assignment default settings with the same result.
I would be very grateful for any assistance on this!

Either the assignment is hidden or the section it is in is hidden or the permissions are set wrong where students do not have the view assignment permission. Look at the settings...
Hi Emma, many thanks for your response, the view assignment function in Site administration / Users / Permissions / define roles / student \ edit student was set to 'prevent', I switched this to allow and it is now resolved.
