Poodll Read Aloud Version 2 is now available on the plugins database at: https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_readaloud
This is a major upgrade on the old version. The notable new features are:
- HTML5 audio recording
- iOS/Android mobile browser support
- AI automated evaluation
Read Aloud can now automatically evaluate the students and send grades to the gradebook. It does this by integrating with Amazon AI speech recognition services. It also offers a spotcheck mode that allows a teacher to only check the student reading mistakes that the Amazon AI indentifies. This really speeds up grading.
ReadAloud is based on the Cloud Poodll API and requires a Cloud Poodll subscription.
