I think what is needed in this module are settings for Availability / timing dates. Currenly, if I set up a wiki, no infomation about it filters to the Dashboard, where students check on their to-do stuff. For intensive project work using this module it would be a big step forward.
Could the addition of such settings be considered?

I am replying to myself. Only now spoted this point in the Forum FAQ:
which says: "Set an 'Expect completed by' date in the Activity completion section of your forum."
I have just tested this for Wiki, and it also works - for the end date at least.
(In fact this (workaround) method works with most other modules that have problems communicating their deadlines and opening dates to the Course overview, or those that don't have Availability / Timing setings.)
Sorry if this was obvious to some. It never was for me.

Thanks Przemek for explaining how to get a wiki date to display on the Dashboard / course overview. I agree with you about it not being obvious! Thus I have added it to the documentation Wiki FAQ.
