A question from a student.
How does one create an elearning executable file so that one can create a course on a disk for use on client computers?
I suggested:
1) Create a Moodle course and bundle it somehow into a Moodle Windows installer. How does one add content into the file space and database of Moodle Windows installer?
2) Use eXe (which is free) or Lersus (which I mention because it is cheap and Moodle friendly) to create a SCORM and bundle that somehow with a Scorm player such as Reload, or if an oline installer is available as in (1) above Moodle, Atutor or Claroline.
3) Use eXe, Dreamweaver (or Lersus?) to create a Web site that can be saved to disk.
4) Adobe Macromedia Captivate (Robodemo) creates executable files.
5) Adobe/ Macromedia flash can create executable files.
5) Articulate probably has software for packaging their quizes and presentations, and creating elearning executables.
7) Elicitus publishes to CD ROM.
A long list here at the e-Learning Centre.
