Thank you for working on this cool plugin, I have just started using it and I really loved it!
We use Moodle 3.4 and Custom certificate 3.4 release (Build: 2017111300). For one course I had to create 10 custom certificates (for 10 different groups). I though that it would be time saving to setup the first one and then duplicate it for the others and edit only the necessary element.
But when duplicating, I noticed that the activity settings were changing. Specifically:
I setup Certificate XXX, with the following options:
Email students > NO
Email teachers > NO
Email others > <blank>
Allow anyone to verify a certificate > YES
Required minutes in course > 0
Set protection > MODIFY
Then I duplicate Certificate XXX, and changed its name to Certificate ZZZ.
The options of Certificate ZZZ were
Email students > NO
Email teachers > NO
Email others > <blank>
Allow anyone to verify a certificate > NO
Required minutes in course > 0
Set protection > MODIFY
And in the Edit certificate page, the Name (auto-completed field) was still showing: Certificate XXX
All in all, I found it easier to setup the 10 certificates from scratch, rather than use the duplication function.
