I'm in MoodleCloud (3.4) and have lost or deleted the sample course that was there yesterday. Can you tell me how to get that course back?

Check the Recycle bin of Moodle https://docs.moodle.org/31/en/Recycle_bin

Unfortunately, the Recycle bin feature is currently disabled on MoodleCloud.
If you have access to another MoodleCloud site, you can do a backup of that course from that site and import it into yours. Otherwise, please open a request on our support system from the portal and we'll help you out from there.
