Upload Users Not Sending Auto Generated Passwords

Hi - I am using moodle version 3.3.2, however when I upload users and select Create password if needed and send via email it is not sending an email.

Is there a setting I am missing?

Maybe your cron is not running? The passwords are not sent immediately, the accounts affected are flagged that the password needs to be generated. Then one of the scheduled tasks will do it in the background after some time (e.g. next time your Moodle cron runs).
