Hi all,

SInce the Season is rapidly approaching, I wonder if any Moodler ever considered making a Moodle Christmas eCard. I am sure there are many colleagues out there who are gifted with photoshop or GIMP, Flash or Java. It would be neat to have a Christmas e-card "powered by Moodle" big grin.

Thanks for your very nice cards. I would've reacted sooner, but in northern Thailand the Internet connections do leave something to be desired (poor me, having to spend Xmas there blinker)

I really love your Xmas cards. Is there a special trick to send them as real e-cards or do I just add them to a normal email?

Sadly I do not have the time to create and setup a true e-card server. (Unless anyone else can volunteer).

For now I would suggest attching them to email.

P.S. For any potential card hosters out there. An open source sourceforge project called Sendcardis available at http://www.sendcard.org/ and is LAMP based

No problem, I'll just attach them to an email. Here is another idea for site admins: I inserted one of your cards to our Moodle - the colors go nicely with our site and it gives it a Christmas touch. Check it out: www.mhs-moodle.de

Look at the Moodle logo - something is missing smiler (No 'L' - pronounced Noel)

At least that's my take on it.

I'd put them on the front page of Moodle.org but since it's an international site I feel I'd also have to start adding holidays from other cultures as well, so I'll leave that alone.  blinker
