Hi Rolf,
We have made a change to the upper menus which now loads them in an overlay. This needs some more work and there are some bugs in the dev version of the theme but if you want to take a look you could install the version from our git repo onto a test machine.
Hopefully we will get the bugs fixed and release this version in the near future.
