Orphaned topic is showing in the mobile app

I've had an issue reported where an orphaned topic was showing in the mobile app for learners. We are running Moodle 3.1 and there are 15 topics in the course with 15 being links that have been used in the course. The course has then been reduced to 14 topics (creating the orphaned topic) and the course format in the settings has been set to 'Hidden sections are completely invisible' yet when I run the tests, it still shows up.

Could it be a Moodle mobile glitch? I hear that Moodle 3.2 works best with Moodle mobile but we won't be upgrading any time soon. Does anyone have any ideas of what's going on?

Hi Nora,

unfortunately this was a bug in Moodle that was fixed for 3.2, so it will require Moodle 3.2 (and the latest version of Moodle Mobile) to work properly.
