Thanks for replying. Yes, the questionnaire does appear in the gradebook as soon it receives one response and before the closing date, so my initial post is mistaken. The item is visible to all students at that point.
However, in a non-anonymous questionnaire, it would be nice if it didn't require that "first student" trigger to appear in the gradebook. That way, a student could review their grades at any time and see everything that wasn't manually hidden by the instructor. Seems like it would avoid potential confusion.
