So you want the User tour to start running in the /course/view.php% but only after arriving at a certain position on the course page? You could make a specific user tour for a specific course, but having it start once students have reached let's say section 9 of your course... Haven't been able to get that done.
Instead of using /course/view.php% (with the % wild card for any course), you could have the user tour applied to /course/view.php?id=course_idnumber.
The down side is that you would have to manually reset the user tour for every time you would want the students to go to it. It might not be the best way to have students navigate your course, so a better way could be to use Restrict access and activity completion.
