A number of users have complained to me about the Atto editor being insufficient, so rather than argue, I have switched back to TinyMCE. Never being satisfied, they are now asking why is it that when things like tables are added, the font changes, the face, the size, and the borders disappear and all sorts. Often, they will put in a break but the editor will save it as a paragraph. I have to agree, this is an annoyance. I have checked the TinyMCE forums and their web site, but I can't find anywhere where it discusses pre-ordained formatting of text.
I am probably looking at the wrong things or asking the wrong questions, but I want to know if there is an easy way of preventing the editor, from changing code when editing a page, or throwing in paragraphs or styles when they are not required.
