Hello


i just installed Adaptable. After i installed it i can access anypages. It totally crashed.

I cant chose/change to another desigm/theme.


Can anyone help me?


Can i change the theme via a php command on the server?

Please, follow the forum rules to get support:

- moodle version

- adaptable version


and always indicate the theme used in the topic title.


Verify also the theme directory permissions.

First, enable the debugger and set it to Developer mode. Refresh the page and paste the errors if shown.

If not, try to disable 3rd party plugins that can have conflicts with the theme.

You should upgrade Adaptable to latest version. 


To enable the debugger from config.php, add these lines:

$CFG->debug = 6143;
$CFG->debugdisplay = 1;
$CFG->themedesignermode = true;


Just curious, why your screenshot is from a settings page (mobile settings)?

How did you get this page if the theme crashed and you can't access the site?

I think in this case knowing versions of any kind are useless.

The easiest way to solve this is to manually remove the Adaptable theme from your server.

Then you should be able to login and change theme and then assess what damage if any was done to your site.
