Tutorials in Moodle?

Hello everyone!

I have been asked to  make a step-by-step tutorial for my students where they are presented with theory about  Referencing and then they are given some referencing tasks to complete in order to practise and test their knowleldge.

I was thus wondering, is there a way to create such a tutorial in Moodle? If so, what should I do?

Your help will be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Anastasia

You may want to give the Lesson activity a try.

The Quiz activity could also be used for this type of task. You can introduce some information, and then quiz students, providing instant feedback about how they went.

A sequence of "pages" is one method I use with each one being visible only when the previous one is completed.

Hope that helps

I like to use video. I store them on Youtube or Screencast. You can collect the embed code and place in what ever Moodle Module you use

The SCORM activity could also be used for this type of task. You can introduce some information, are given and some referencing tasks to complete in order to practice and test their knowledge.

I have attached a SCORM file, I think this will definitely help you.
