Display Moodle block on a Mobile2 app?

We have a number of courses which have extra course content in a Moodle block, rather than a module, because the block content is shared between different courses.

The Mobile2 app doesn't appear to display any block content as standard.

Is there a workaround or setting to enable the mobile app display block content?

OK, the silence suggests the answer is the mobile app doesn't plan to support blocks any time soon 微笑

I will investigate the possibility of adding the web services and add on to the block itself and see what happens.  Failing that working, I will raise a tracker ticket.

Hi Brian,

we don't have plans to support modules in the short or long term in the Mobile app.

Moodle itself is trying to get rid off modules (see the new boost theme) when possible.

There is a issue in the tracker created for adding WS to support blocks, see https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-50970, the problem right now is that it will require some core changes because of the text formatting
