I've created a group, but don't see it in the drop down list on the Participant page, like here: https://kb.wisc.edu/moodle/page.php?id=28559
Anyone know why? Do I need to adjust settings some where. It's important for the teacher to send separate messages to separate groups in this course.
Hi Greg,
You need to set the group mode to visible or separate groups in the course settings (Course administration > Edit settings) in order to see the groups dropdown menu on the participants page.
You don't actually need to set a group mode for any activities.
